CALEDONIA, Minn. – Human remains have been found in a burned-out vehicle in Beaver Creek Valley State Park. Sheriff Mark Inglett said the remains were not immediately identified. The vehicle was reported to authorities about 7:30 a.m. It was inside the 1,200-acre state park five miles west of Caledonia. The sheriff described the vehicle as “completely destroyed.” A three-day late deer season had ended un the park Sunday.

Beaver Creek Valley State Park. County Highway 1 from Caledonia goes into the park as a four-mile cul-de-sac with a couple of loops and turnouts.  There also are entrances from West Beaver Road off County Road 10 on three-mile long Mill Road.
