WINONA, Minn. – An Altura home aide, formerly a sales rep for Winona Radio, was charged with financially exploiting a vulnerable adult. Jodi Marie Schilling, 53, kept asking for loans from the victim, who said she felt sorry for her, according to the criminal complaint. The complaint alleges the first “loan” from a Winona bank was in September 2018. According to the complaint: The last loan was for $4,000 in May 2021.The victim handed the proceeds over to Schilling. There were four loans in all. There were also eight checks totaling $9,300 between January 2019 and July 2021. Schilling was with Winona Radio from 2012 to 2020.
