‘ST. PAUL, Minn. – Governor Tim Walz announced that the state’s “Kids Deserve a Shot” CoVid vaccine incentive program is expanding to children ages 5 to 11. The incentive is a $200 Visa card. Walz said: “As omicron surges across our nation, we’re continuing to use every resource we have to keep our families safe and healthy.” Registration for the $200 opens January 24 and runs to February 28. Also, in the spring there will be drawings for five $100,000 Minnesota college scholarship drawings for kids ages to 11 who are fully vaccinated.
