RUSHFORD, Minn. –Patricia Ann Lawrence, 87, of Rushford, a meter reader and waitress and a volunteer tax-preparer for the elderly, died peacefully in her sleep. For many years he managed the 4-H Diner at the Carlton County Fair in Barnum. She was a Cub Scout leader and held various offices at the Barnum and Rushford American Legion Auxiliary. At age of 15 she went to a convent to become a nun. She ran away six months later.
