WILSON, Minn. – Two cars collided on a two-lane section of State Highway 43 that climbs out of Winona near Wilson. The collision was head-on. The road was snowy and icy. Neither driver was seriously hurt. Caylee Judith Kjos, 18, of Winona, was taken to the Winona hospital to be examined. Sera Kristine Speltz, 17, Winona, declined treatment, deputies said. The accident was about 6 p.m. at Pinetree Lane. Speltz, in a 2014 Subaru Legacy, was driving north toward Winona. Kjos, in a 2005 Saturn Vue, was driving south and approaching the Interstate 90 interchange at Wilson.
