ROCHESTER, Minn.—A United Parcel Service facility was damaged in an overnight fire — as well as several UPS delivery trucks at loading docks and hundreds of in-process packages. The fire was reported just before midnight. When firefighters arrived, several trucks parked on the north side of the building were on fire. Smoke was coming from the building. There was concern that a person was inside, but apparently this wasn’t the case. One fire crew began extinguishing the fire from the outside, while others went inside. Other crews used a ladder truck to reach hard-to-reach flames on top of the delivery trucks. One firefighter suffered a minor.
