WINONA, Minn. – The Winona County Emergency Management office posted a warning against discretionary travel to LaCrosse, where coronavirus infections have been spiking. On Friday there were 254 new cases. The past week has had 90 new cases most days. On the Winona Emergency Planning Facebook page: “This does not mean that we are advising that you cancel doctors’ appointments, going to work or doing essential things, but if you do need to go to La Crosse County for essential services, take extra precautions and try to make it a quick trip.”
