BROWNSVILLE, Minn. – A Brownsville man lost control of his pickup on Highway 26 near the Iowa border and struck a tree. Injuries to Cody Nicholas Dawson, 26, appeared non-life threatening, but to be sure he was transported 25 miles to a LaCrosse hospital. The accident was on ice-covered and snow-covered Highway 26 near the County Road 14 junction to Caledonia. The accident was about 4:35 a.m. He was headed north in a 2008 Toyota Tundra pickup.
