HOLMEN, Wis. — Drugan’s Castle Mound Golf & Restaurant near Holmen, known for a Norwegian touch its menu, marked its 50th year in business – if you don’t count two months off for coronavirus pandemic this year. Mike and Mary Drugan plan to hold a 50-year celebration later this year. Part 0f the celebration: A dining club member card that with 50% off menu entrees. During the coronavirus shutdown, from March 17 to May 21, the restaurant offered only carry-out service. The golf course reopened April 24 with some restrictions. Business has been brisk, she said. Many people, she said, hadn’t been able to do other things, like baseball, soccer and swimming, because of the virus.
