WINONA, Minn. – The City Council approved reconstruction of seven blocks of South Baker Street, which connects Fifth Street and the high school. The $1.7 million project is planned fro summer. Brian DeFrang, public works director, said the intersection at Gilmore Avenue, which leads to the school parking lot, will be completed by the start of fall classes.
