ST. PAUL, Minn. – Gov. Tim Walz has a small window to call anther special session of the Legislature to tackle issues left on the table Saturday by the failed special session. Under his emergency powers, Walz, a Democrat, has an additional 30 days to call the Legislature back. There had been an attempt last week in the Republican-controlled Senate to revoke the governor’s emergency powers, but House Democrats blocked the move.
