LUTSEN, Minn. – The alpine ski area Lutsen will be open Saturday for the last day of the season — in May,  no less, still with 30 inches of snow mass. This is the resort’s latest closing day ever. With daytime temperatures forecast at 50, there will be no more for the season. The last runs are on Eagle Mountain with 10 to 12 runs.
