MINNEAPOLIS – The show-off drunken driver who smacked a tree at high-speed and killed two passengers was sentenced to 90 months in prison. At his sentencing hearing, James Blue, 52, apologized profusely to the families of and 24-year-old Sam Schuneman an 20-year-old Mack Motzko. “I never imagined for a moment that I was capable of doing something with such awful consequences. It was completely out of character for me. And I understand that I must be punished,” Blue told Judge Regina Chu. Blue and the two younger man had been at a party in an upscale suburb. Motzko was the son of University of Minnesota hockey coach Bob Motzko. The son was well known in hockey circles. He had played for the Sioux Falls Stampede L and the New Mexico Ice Wolves.
