ALTURA, Minn.—Deputies arrested an Altura man on charges of raping a minor on several occasions, some as far back as seven years. The charge against Ramiro Silva Barajas, 53: First-degree criminal sexual assault on a minor. The sheriff’s office was sparse on details of the case but said the latest assault was August 17 and that Silva and the victim had a significant relationship. In court, the judge set bail at $25,000. Silva was taken to he Houston County jail pending further Winona court hearings.
Silva Barajas. Max sentence could run 60 years in prison and an $80,000 fine.
