ROCHESTER, Minn. – Two drivers, one from Dover, the other from Pine Island, escaped serious injury when their cars collided on rain-slick U.S. Highway 14 east of Eastwood Park. Amber Lynn Wood, 17, of Dover, was heading east on U.S. 14 toward St. Charles. Farhio Mohamed Yusuf, 23, of Pine Island, was pulling out of 40th Avenue Southeast. The collision was about 9:25 p.m. Wood, driving a 2000 Saturn SL2m, was unhurt. Yusuf, in a 2014 Subaru Outback, was taken to a hospital to be checked over.
