ST. PAUL, Minn. – Minnesota companies exported a record $7.3 billion of goods in the quarter ending in September. The state economics agency said the exports were 28% more than a corresponding period a year earlier. The year-to-date increase was 1%. The largest recipient nations in the third quarter:
> Canada: $2.5 billion, up 57%
> Mexico: $712 million, up 14%.
> China: $651 million, off 3%.
