WABASHA, Minn. – Steve Joseph Oenning, 70, of Wabasha, whose career was mostly as a computer programmer and manager at IBM in Rochester, died while on vacation on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. He graduated from Wabasha-Kellogg High School in 1970. At Winona State University, he studied mathematics. After retirement, he built a home on the Oenning family farm near Wabasha.
