BARRON, Wis. – A Barron County judge declined to extend a temporary injunction against Governor Tony Evers’ 25 percent capacity limit for businesses. Judge James Babler said capacity limits are “the only way to bring Wisconsin’s economy back.” Earlier, at the request of the Wisconsin Tavern League, a judge in neighboring Sawyer County issued as temporary injunction against capacity limits. Judge Babler’s new ruling said controlling the coronavirus outweighed the Tavern League’s argument that capacity limits hurt their business.
