SAN FRANCISCO – Former Vice President Joe Biden leads President Trump by 5 percentage points in the presidential race, according to a survey by Change Research. The survey, commissioned by the Minnesota Post news site, carries a 3.1% margin of error, which means conceivably that Trump may lead. The survey was conducted October 12-15 with 1,021 likely voters.

Senate race
The incumbent Democrat senator Tina Smith led ex-Congress member Jason Smith, a Republican, 48% to 42% in the Change Research poll.
