WINONA, Minn. – The Winona Journal has passed a landmark. Visits to the noncommercial news site since counting began reached 10,000. In recent weeks the count had grown to 100 to 120 most days. Public interest in the Maddi Kingsbury disappearance then spiked visits to 600 in one 24-hour period. The Journal’s story count since the site’s inception: 13,000.
