WINONA, Minn. – A woman in the 550 block of Hamilton reported that she received a notice in the mail offering to help her pay her credit card debt. Suspecting a scam, she contacted her bank to confirm whether her identity had not been stolen. No losses were reported, police said. The report was filed with police about 8 a.m.
