ROCHESTER, Minn. – A guy in a Haley jacket has been going door to door and introducing himself as fireplace flume cleaner, but Haley Comfort Systems, a prominent local air-conditioning company, has no idea who he is. Police issued an alert for a possible imposter: A white male, 5-foot-6 to 5-10, blue eyes, a neck gator covering his face, and a black coat with the word “Haley.” Complaints have been mostly in southeast neighborhoods. Police advice: Admit no one who doesn’t have an appointment.
