FARIBAULT Minn. – Two pickup tucks collided head-on on a residential street and injured five teenagers. Two of teens were air-lifted 60 miles in critical condition to a Twin Cities hospital. The collision was about. 1:40 p.m. in a 30-mph zone in the 1100 block of Ninth Avenue Southwest near Jefferson school. Faribault police summoned the State Patrol to reconstruct what happened, Involved were a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2002 Ford F150. Alcohol was not a factor, police said. The streets were dry.
In the Silverado:
> Beau William Velishek, 18, the driver, who needed to be cut of the wreckage. Flown to North Hennepin Medical Center in Robbinsdale. With serious injuries.

Hockey season. Three of the injured teenagers were Faribault High School hockey players. The school cancelled a Saturday night conference gane with Winona. Joel Olson, principal, said that the remaining games in the season also may be cancelled.
