SARGEANT, Minn. — One person died when his vehicle slammed into a bridge and burst into flames east of the Mower County village of Sargeant. The man was unconscious inside the burning vehicle when first-responders from Hayfield arrived. No one else was in the vehicle. The victim was not identified immediately. The accident happened about 3:30 p.m.
