EAGAN, Minn. – An Alaska Airlines 737-800, painted to look like a 129-foot king salmon, is making the rounds to airports to promote the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute’s campaign for wild, natural and sustainable Alaska seafood. At the MSP tarmac in the Twin Cities, crews unloaded fresh salmon for publicity . The unique livery used 60,000 feet of masking tape and 125 colors of paint, much of it pink. Err, salmon

The message: Eat Alaska, eat salmon.
