WINONA, Minn. – The Winona hospital has a new emergency room doctor — Jonathan Birdsall, whose father Scott Birdsall earlier had a career in Winona as an obstetrician and gynecologist. Jonathan Birdsall, age 32, recently completed his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. His medical degree is from the University of Iowa. He has a sideline as a freelance musician, mostly on the saxophone.
