EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Among healthcare givers filling he void created by the business collapse of the HSHS hospitals and Prevea clinics is the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire speech and audiology clinic. Abby Hemmerich, department chair, said services are being regeared for broader community clientele. The services, which are free, are staffed by undergrad and grad students who are supervised by licensed speech pathologists, Hemmerich said.
