ST. PAUL, Minn. – State Rep. Gene Pelowski, a 17-term Democrat from Winona, misused almost $4,000 in campaign funds for personal living expenses over the past three years, according to an audit. The state Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board said Pelowski spent $3,976.27 for rent, furniture and utilities from 2017 to 2019.
