GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The chief U.S. Porder Patrol agent at Grand Forks, Anthony Good, said anyone thinking of crossing the Canadian border illegally should not do it, especially with treacherous wintry conditions. Good issued the warning after four people froze to death last week. He also warned about smugglers, who charge a lot and smile encouragingly. “Smugglers only care about the money they are going to make and have zero regard for lives lost,” he said.
