> Highest temperature ever: 114 degrees at Wisconsin Dells on the Wisconsin River in south-central Wisconsin, July 13, 1936.

> Lowest temperature ever: 55 below at  Couderay in Sawyer County in far northern Wisconsin, February 4, 1996.

> Most 24-hour precipitation ever: 11.72 inches at Mellen in Ashland County in far northern Wisconsin, June 24, 1946. An Arctic air mass that settled into the region and resulted in record lows in the Upper Mississippi Valley.

> Most  24-hour snowfall: 26 inches at Neillsville in Clark County in north-central Wisconsin, December 26–27, 1904)
