> Lowest temperature ever: 60-below at Tower in St. Louis County in the Arrowhead, February 2, 1996.

> Most 24-hour precipitation ever: 15.1 inches at Hokah in Houston County, August 19, 2007. The flood claimed six lives in southeast Minnesota. Several communities feet underwater.

> Most 24-hour snowfall ever: 36 inches at Finland in Lake County in the Arrowhead, January7, 1994.
