FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. – At 1,676 pounds, a pumpkin grown by James Magneson of New London was the heaviest of them all at the Minnesota State fair.  Big though it was, Magneson’s pumpkin was a babe compared with the world record  2,702-pound entry of Italian farmer Stefano Cutrupi of Radda last year at Campionato della Zuccone pumpkin festival in Peccioli. The2022 Minnesota State Fair winners:

> 1,676.5 pounds: James Magneson of New London.

> 1000.5 pounds: Ben Rhodes of Blaine.

> 878.5 pounds: Ron Lieske of Henderson.

> 795.5 pounds: Alexander Bogie of Ham Lake.

> 591.5 pounds: Julie Weisenhorn of Chasaka.

> 519 pounds:  Nate Zachemeier of Blaine.

> 430.5 pounds: Nick Decker of Minnetonka.
