ONALSAKA, Wis. – An Onalaska apartment resident was hospitalized after a fire at the 16-unit Al Baldus Manor apartment building for people with chronic mental health issues. Other residents were evacuated safely. Firefighters, who were called about 11:15 p.m., contained the fire to the original apartment. The cause was under investigation.
