ROCHESTER, Minn. – When a woman pulled down her mask in the check-out aisle at the Kohl’s department store, the man behind her became upset. As police pieced together what happened, the man yelled at her and then, after leaving the store, knocked her to the ground. The woman, age 61, hit her head and had to go to the hospital. Police arrested Levi Solland, 29, of Rochester, and booked him for fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct. The incident was just after 1 p.m. Why had the woman pulled her mask down? She couldn’t breathe, she said.
