ARCADIA, Wis. – Arcadia-based Ashley Furniture announced plans for an eighth regional distribution center, this one in the Columbus, Ohio, east suburb of Etna. Chief executive Todd Wanek said that $70 million will be unvested in constructing the 1 million square foot warehouse. There will be 300 jobs when operational in late 2021, Wanek said. Ashley expects the expansion will facilitate next-day delivery to 75% of the nation. Wanek said the warehouse will expand the company’s capacity to support brick-and-mortar retail operations, as well as e-commerce growth.
