WINONA, Minn. – A Winona man was charged with punching another man and stealing his wallet on the 700 block of East Fifth Street and then fleeing on foot. This was about 2:25 p.m. Arrested was Marshawn Devon Leverston, 21. When police caught Leverston, they said, he was trying to get rid of a backpack. Inside the backpack, they said, was 238 grams of marijuana. Police recommended prosecution for robbery and possession of a controlled substance.
