WINONA, Minn. – Because of a gas leak, a home day-care house in the 100 residential block of Jederman Drive was evacuated. This was about 8 a.m. off Gilmore Creek above Saint Mary’s University. A contractor had nicked a gas line. Firefighters crimped the leak, checked the house for gas, as well as neighboring houses, and declared an A-OK.
