WINONA, Minn. — Firefighters were called to a home in 1000 block of West Mark Street for arcing electrical equipment arcing. In the basement was light smoke and an electrical box that showed signs of fire. Firefighters pulled large breakers to de-energize the area. The basement was ventilated. The electrical box was left to cool. The fire call was about 1:15 a.m. The homeowner was advised to contact an electrician immediately.
