Between seasons. The Winona fleeting harbor fleet has the season free until Mississippi River shipping resumes in April. The Suland, Gold Star and White Angel, all twin screws in the 800-horsepower range, are owned by American River Transportation. ARTcois a stevedoring subsidiary of the Chicago-based multi-national agricultural giant Archer Daniels Midland. ARTco owns 2,000 barges and some towboats and harbor tugboats.
