ROCHESTER, Minn. – The knock on the door at 10:30 p.m., seldom a good sign, was horrific for a homeowner southeast of Rochester. But more so for the woman who knocked. She said a man was after her. Then a man drove up on the lawn and got out of with a knife. He grabbed the woman, punched her several times, and forced her into his car. He also threatened the home-owner: Don’t call the cops. The owner called 911. Investigators determined the woman’s identity and located her the next afternoon at work. They then identified Richard Eaton, 31, of Rochester, and made an arrest. Police said Eaton and the 37-year-old woman had an on-and-off relationship. The house incident was Wednesday night in the 1300 block of Marion Road.
