CULLMAN, Ala. – A diehard Trump supporter who has espoused election conspiracy theories, State Representative Robin Vos, R-Burlington, got the royal treatment from the former president for an Alabama rally. Trump flew Vos to the rally on his private jet. It was a buddy-buddy turn-about for Trump, who earlier had lambasted the Wisconsin party for failing to do enough to attempt to overturn his Wisconsin loss in the 2020 election. Von said his Alabama trip was an attempt to keep Trump abreast of Wisconsin GOP initiatives to challenge the 2020 election. Vos said he spent the day with Trump, sharing his plans to restore integrity and trust in elections in Wisconsin. “While our attempts to make common sense election reforms to close loopholes and standardize procedures were vetoed by Governor Evers, we have doubled down on our top-to-bottom investigation by Special Counsel Justice Michael Gableman,” Vos said he told Trump. “We will do whatever it takes to help Justice Gableman uncover reports of systematic fraud in our forensic audit.” Vos said he will keep Trump updated on the investigation..

Vos. In Wisconsin Assembly since 2005. House speaker since 2013. President of National Conference of State Legislatures. Owns RoJos Popcorn Company. Major landlord in Whitewater. UW-Whitewater grad.
Trump booed
Trump was cheered by a packed crowd at a rural Alabama rock venue, but he was booed when he recommended Covid vaccinations. The booing was brief – when Trump turned his free-wheeling, nonscripted and sometimes incoherent speech to Covid: “I believe totally in your freedoms. I do. You gotta do what you gotta do. But I recommend take the vaccines. I did it. It’s good,” Boos erupted from the mostly unmasked crowd. Trump continued: “That’s OK. That’s all right. But I happen to take the vaccine. If it doesn’t work, you’ll be the first to know. But it is working. You do have your freedoms. You have to maintain that.” Vaccination in Alabama have been among the lowest in the country. Hospitals and emergency room are pressing capacity.
