NELSON, Wis. — Three people, including a child,  were hurt in a two-vehicle crash at the Highway 35 junction to State Highway 25 up the Chippewa River Valley. All were taken to a Wabasha hospital with injuries that appeared non-life threatening. The accident was about 11 a.m. Kylie Barningham, 28, of Pepin, was eastbound on Highway 35 and attempting to turn across traffic on to State Road 25, deputies said. They said that she failed to yield and was struck by a car driven Christina Gbejewoh, 43, of Woodbury, Minnesota. The child was in Barningham’s car.
