WISCONSIN RAPIDS. Wis. – A rare bull elk was cruising down Eighth Street. The policeman who spotted it has evdience — dashcam footage. “This is the first time that I’m aware that happened in the city,” said officer Scott Dewitt. “It’s new to us.” Dewitt and  another officer teamed up their squad cars and channeled the elk back into a wooded area. The brute left the city limits.
