WAUWATOSA, Wis. – Twin sisters were charged with shooting the lone server in an all-night diner in a spat over what they had ordered. Breanta and Bryanna Johnson, 20, were arrested for attempted intentional homicide. They were held on $100,000 bond. They face possible 65 years in prison. In the incident, shortly after midnight January 30, server Anthony Rodriguez was punched in the head, body-slammed to the ground, stomped, and shot in the head. The bullet knocked out most of the teeth in the right side of his mouth. The bullet is still lodged in his neck. “I’m just lucky to be alive,” the 26-year-old said in a WITI interview. Now out of the hospital, he laid on a couch, his head in a brace and propped on pillows. “I’m so grateful I can move around and see my family,” he said. It gives me a fresh perspective. The healing I’ve done so far has been incredible. Just a week ago, I couldn’t even speak.

His account of what happened
Rodriguez was working at a George Webb restaurant in the Milwaukee suburb of Wauwatosa. A little after midnight, four women, sitting at two different tables, claimed they had ordered an additional hamburger. He didn’t recall the addition. The women said they wouldn’t pay for any of their food. Rodriguez took the food back. He asked the women to leave. Minutes later, the attack began.
