OTTAWA – Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tightened travel restrictions on travelers from Mexico and the Caribbean in an attempt to stall the arrival of more contagious variants of the novel coronavirus. Travelers must quarantine in a hotel at their own expense when they arrive. There already is pre-boarding PCR testing for Canada-bound flights. Also, airl service to Mexico and all Caribbean destinations was suspended until April 30.
