LAKE CITY, Minn. – A Lake City man and a 1-year-old boy were taken to a Lake City hospital after their car hit a guardrail. Neither had life tgreatening injuries. The accident was about 5:15 p.m. on U.S. Highway 61 along Lake Pepin seven miles south of Lake City. Deputies said the driver, Michael Flores, 30, of Lake City, had been drinking. They were northbound in a 2010 Ford Focus. The road was dry, deputies said.
