ARCADIA, Wis. – A man driving a sedan was killed in a head-on collision with a truck on Highway 93 north of Arcadia. The driver of the truck was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries, deputies said. Names of the victims were not immediately released. The accident was about 1 p.m. Deputies believed the car was southbound in the wrong lane and the truck northbound. Neither driver had a passenger. The highway, the main artery between Arcadia and Independence, was blocked three hours with traffic diverted 12 miles on Valley River Road.
