BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. – First-responders pulled a trapped woman from her vehicle after she crashed into the rear of a semi-truck trailer on Interstate 94. The woman was alert, rescuers said. She was airlifted to a LaCrosse hospital. The accident was about noon southeast of Black River Falls. Westbound lanes of I-94 were closed about two hours for the rescue helicopter to land and for debris to be cleared.
