WINONA Minn. — A Rollingstone woman bit a policeman who was attempting to get her to the hospital to be evaluated for detoxification. The officer eventually transported Seirra Becky Lohnes, age 23, to the hospital. After being medically cleared, Lohnes was taken to jail and charged with assaulting an officer. The officer said the bite, to a hand, was painful but didn’t require medical attention. Lohnes had been found lying on a sidewalk in the Bar Distrct near Third and Main streets. This was about 2:10 a.m. She was screaming and causing a disturbance and was “very intoxicated,” the officer said.
