MINNEAPOLIS – Police Chief Medaria Arradondo said that body-camera video from a police shooting Wednesday evening would be released. Arradondo also said that the state’s Bureau of Criminal Apprehension would handle the investigation. The chief said the incident was part of a “probable cause” weapons investigation.

Police did not release the name of the man who was killed immediately, but television station KSTP reported that he was Dolal Idd, a 23-year-old Smali-American. The station cited its source as a man identifying himself as the man’s father.
